Malcolm is One Month Old!

Mal is four weeks old!

 

 Malcolm is four weeks old and 13lbs! We noticed last weekend how alert he's become, he really watches us. At his checkup the midwives said that he's still really advanced for such a young guy, they were especially impressed by how alert he is and how strong.

Malcolm got his first piece of mail today.

Mal is three weeks old!

We've been taking daily walks, and Mal loves his carrier.

Malcolm's First Bath

Malcolm had his first bath. We decided to have him in the big tub with mama so he could nurse easily if he got upset. These pictures are from when we first got in, and he seemed to think maybe this was okay. He started crying not too long into the bath, though, and as a result only about half his body really got washed (the left half, if you're wondering). Below are pictures of sister Clementine having her first bath. She wasn't thrilled either.

Malcolm has started really watching Clementine when she is nearby. He seems to be growing up so fast! In no time he'll be smiling and laughing at his sister's funny songs and dances.
